Option 1: Compile using Cygwin g++ on local machine

 

During installation, the user has the option to install Cygwin g++ and all relevant libraries that are essential for compiling code generated from a design. The installed g++ version support c++ 2014 standard.

However, only core VSC libraries are supported on Cygwin g++.

Compilation Options

Option 2: Remote computing server using cloud interface

The user can also compile the generated code using a third party cloud computing server. The user can setup an account with Amazon Web Services and create a EC2 instance to compile and run code generated from a design. VSC has 3 pre-defined EC2 options,namely AWS Ubuntu, AWS Ubuntu CNTK (Ubuntu Deep Learning), and Amazon Linux. The user can also use other Linux option but it requires more setup. Please contact customer service with your specific requirement.
